
A Lehman Brothers trader keyed in £300m instead of £3m at the end of business on Monday and the FTSE100 lost 130 points, or a stunning 2.2 per cent, in the last few minutes of trading last Monday. This Fat-Finger-Error wiped £30bn off the value of Britain’s hundred leading shares. Although the losses have been recouped, Grant Ringshaw finds the City is still reeling from the implications.
